CARE is a Mid-Sussex charity providing support to those needing help in our local community. There is a 24 hour, 7 day a week dedicated phone line. Services, provided by volunteers and free of charge, include visiting people who live alone, transport to medical appointments, shopping with, and for, people and help with one off jobs in their homes. In fact, whatever people need. In our relatively affluent area there are many people who need the kindly help of a neighbour regularly or in an emergency.
They are always seeking new volunteers, so please contact 01444 455955 if you’d like to learn more.
